thursday thirteen - favourite fonts

Hello, everyone!
Recently I have gone font crazy. I love finding pretty fonts to use in projects. So for this week I have decided to do my Thursday Thirteen on my Thirteen favourite fonts, in no particular order. I'm not even sure what my favourite font would be, it's such a hard decision.

Let's get started.

1. Frontage is currently one of my top favourites. I love being able to layer the font to a style you like.

2. Detroit is also another layered font with full customization. Definitely love the style of this font.

3. Brandon Grotesque is up next with a super clean, sleek look to it.

4. Graphique Pro is a great display font with lots of style and attitude. I'm currently using it for my blog banner :)

5. Neutraface comes with 71 different font styles. This font is amazing for display and body copy.

6. Grizzly Bear is a fun typeface created by Match & Kerosene.

7. Verner & Verna have a fun, unique style These two will also be on the top of my favourites.

8. Love Potion No. 10 is a cute, girly font. I have yet to use it in any projects but I love it's style.

9. Gelato is a yummy looking script font.

10. Cheap Pine

11. Mr Moustache

12. Mensch

13. Ribbon

There you have it. My thirteen favourite fonts. What's your favourite font?!

Fabulous Font is a new section I am adding to my blog. I love getting really nice fonts, it makes my day :) I recently acquired the font family, Neutraface. The whole family is gorgeous and I can't wait to use it in future projects.

SUMMER HEAT

Hello, everyone!
It's a hot one in Toronto today. To celebrate this amazing weather and tomorrow being the first day of summer here is a mood board I put together. I wish I had a beach vacation planned for the summer.

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far!

thursday thirteen - why i love toronto

This weeks Thursday 13 is "Random" so I've decided to state 13 reasons why I love Toronto. I've lived in Toronto for 6 ish years now and although sometimes I can really hate the city, there are certain things I do enjoy. So here we go:

1. The skyline

2. Visiting Toronto Islands

3. How you can find a sushi restaurant just about anywhere. My favourite is Sushi on Bloor.

4. Walking down Queen Street West.

5. Trinity Bellwoods Park / The dog bowl.

6. Summer Bonfires at Cherry Beach.

7. The culture the city has. Trying new foods and visiting China Town / Little Italy.

8. Lots of places to take nice photographs.

9. Since moving to Toronto I have met a lot of cool people and made some amazing friends.

10. Harbour Front.

11. Skating at Nathan Philips Square in the winter.

11. The different events the city has. Taste of the Danforth, Pride, Canada Day, etc.

12. Canada's Wonderland! Mainly for the waterpark. Not a huge roller coaster fan.

13. Finally, As much as I hate public transportation, the TTC does get me from one place to another quite easily. It's a very small like though :p.

sunday afternoon

Happy Sunday everyone! I don't know about you but I'm having a lazy one. I made a Pinterest board a little while ago called "Sunday Afternoon." Whenever I think of Sunday it usually consists of watching TV, pinning, promoting my Etsy shop online, blogging and maybe do some laundry. How do you usually spend your Sunday?
